CAMBODIA PROPERTY BUYER SERVICES & GUIDANCE

Support for international buyers who want to understand Cambodia before they commit to anything.

What we do, and what we do not

Property Cambodia exists to make a complex decision feel manageable. Buying a home abroad is as much about the life around it as the bricks and title deeds, so our services start with your intentions and the places that suit them. We help you understand the market, the legal framework for foreign buyers and the practical steps involved, and we help you send a clear brief so that any response you receive is relevant.

Just as important is what we do not do. We are not lawyers and we do not give legal, tax or investment advice. We do not promise returns, rental income or price growth. We will never recommend nominee structures or other arrangements intended to get around Cambodia's restrictions on foreign land ownership. When a question needs a professional answer, we will say so and encourage you to appoint independent Cambodian counsel. Our buying guide sets out the basics, and the UK foreign travel advice for Cambodia is worth reading before any visit.

01

Search briefing

We start by listening: where, why, how often you will be in Cambodia, your preferred home type and budget in GBP, USD or EUR. We then explain what is realistically available to a foreign buyer for that brief.

02

Place orientation

Practical context on Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Battambang, Sihanoukville, Poipet and Serei Saophoan: neighbourhood character, daily life, access and what to look at when you visit.

03

Ownership clarity

Plain-English explanations of strata titles, the above-ground-floor rule, building quotas and leasehold structures, so that you arrive at your lawyer's office with sharper questions.

04

Introductions

Where appropriate, we can point you towards independent professionals such as Cambodian lawyers. They act for you, not for us or any seller.

05

Viewing preparation

Checklists for visits and documents to request, helping you compare options consistently and avoid being rushed.

06

Ongoing questions

A single point of contact while you think things through, without pressure or artificial deadlines.
